The PCMS 8th grade Dragons completed their perfect season last night at Hutchinson Field, beating Joplin South Middle School, 46-14. This victory, secured back-to-back undefeated seasons for these Dragons, going 7-0 last year and 6-0 this year. As eighth graders, they have out scored their opponents 326-42 (54-7 average per game) in just six games, (and that was with a running clock in the second half of all six games).
Last night the Dragons were led by running backs Caiden Barber and Grant Roelfs who both scored three touchdowns apiece with Barber scoring on runs of 45,4 and 51 yards respectively. Roelfs scored on runs of 9 yards and 33 yards. Roelfs also added a 40 yard punt return for a touchdown and a two point conversion run. Cooper Hayden, Cam Jefferson and Brock Bowman, all added two point conversion runs.

7TH GRADE GETS HUGE COME FROM BEHIND WIN!
The PCMS seventh grade Dragons scored 22 unanswered points in the second half, beating the Joplin Eagles 22-12. Down 0-12 late in the the third quarter, the Dragons came alive, using a potent ground game led by Terrell Davis and Ethan Rhodes. Davis scored on runs of 8 and 9 yards while Rhodes scored on a three yard run and added a two point conversion run. Cruise Lopez also added a two point conversion run to seal the victory.
The Dragons ended the season with a 3-3 record.
