Meet Recap

Dragon Girls golf team traveled to the Carl Junction Invitational on Tuesday 9/13/16. The eighteen hole tournament was played at Briarbrook Golf Course with a total of eleven teams competing on the day. The home team of Carl Junction won the competition with a four person score of 356, Joplin was second with a 363. Republic was 3rd scored 388, Carthage was 4th scored 393 and Pittsburg scored 397 for 5th place (Lopez- 91, Lord – 97, VanWyck – 103, Valenzuela – 106)

Dragons golfer finishes: Gracie Lopez – with a 91 with a 10th, Logan Lord – with a 97 for 14th place.

Our goal today was to shoot between 400 and 410. I was very pleased with our 397 score. Playing at Briarbrook was a great experience for the girls and it was the closest example of a course like we will play at our regionals in Kansas City.
